Create A Drop-Down List In Excel 

When you add data to a drop-down list, the data can be on the same worksheet as the list, on a different worksheet within the same workbook, or in a completely different Excel workbook. To create a drop-down menu, do the following:

  1. Make cell B3 the active cell by selecting it from the list.

Remove A Drop-Down List

  1. Select the cell that contains the drop-down list that needs to be removed from the table.
  2. Select the Data option.
  3. choose Data Validation from the drop-down menu to display the Data Validation dialogue box.

  5. remove the drop-down list, select Clear All from the menu.
